Statement on: Gender, Marriage & Family

We believe that God created mankind in his own image. God made two biological genders (male and female). We believe God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by any means.

We believe Scriptural marriage is a God joined union for life, between one God-made-biological-man to one God-made-biological-woman.

(Gen. 2:18-24; Mt. 19:3-9; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10-11; Eph. 5:22-25)

We believe God commanded sexual intimacy to occur only within a Scriptural Marriage. We believe any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful to God. We believe that the marriage relationship is the context that God has designed family to grow from. We do not believe that Gods design for family includes two or more persons of the same or opposite sex, who live together outside the institution of marriage, whether for convenience or homosexuality or romance or experimentation.

We believe we should show compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity to those we disagree with on these points.
