Kids Ministry Mission

PATHWAY KIDS is a place where “children discover who Jesus really is”.
At PATHWAY KIDS we believe that kids can have a person relationship with Jesus. PATHWAY KIDS is not babysitting. In PATHWAY KIDS we encounter God.

Our Values

  • To creatively present a clear message that Biblically models and encourages prayer, Bible reading, and life-application.
  • To provide children with a physically, emotional and spiritually safe environment where they can grow in their relationship with God.
  • To develop a lasting and uplifting relationship between children, leaders and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Babies Under 1

We have a special mom’s only room where you can nurse/feed, change, or rock your baby. In this room you will find a changing table, recliners, dimmable lights, as well as the live stream of the service on a TV.  You can find this Mommy room across from the Women’s Restroom. For your convenience, we also have a diaper changing stations in both Men’s and Women’s Restrooms.

Ages 1 year – 5th Grade

SUNDAYS WE HAVE THREE PROGRAMS

Toddlers: Age 1 – 2

Where children discover Jesus Christ through play, as they are cared for in a safe, loving environment.
Due to space limitation and sanitation of the room, our volunteers do not change diapers. A volunteer will text you to come up if the need arises.

Preschool: Age 3 – 5

Where children discover who Jesus Christ really is as they are taught age-appropriate Biblical concepts through many activities such as stories, songs, games, crafts and more.
Children may graduate to the Preschool classroom once they are 3 years old and fully potty-trained.

Explorers: Grades K – 5th

Where children discover who Jesus Christ really is as they hear the weekly focus through a Bible lesson.
They are also encouraged to apply the weekly focus as  they interact, explore and experience the concept, through games, crafts, music, activities and projects.

Check-In & Safety

At PATHWAY KIDS, safety is a priority. All of your PATHWAY KIDS volunteers have been background checked and trained. We have a two-adults-always policy. There will never be a time where your child will be alone with an adult. This is for safety and accountability purposes.

Another way we ensure kids are kept safe is our check-in process. Each time you check-in with your child, you will receive a name tag that displays your child’s name, and a pick-up code, as well as any allergies your child may have. Place the name tag portion on your child’s shirt. Once checked in and dismissed from worship, please bring your child to PATHWAY KIDS.

Our check-in is available beginning at 9:45am. All children worship with their families in the Sanctuary. Your child(ren) will be dismissed from the Sanctuary to PATHWAY KIDS between worship and the sermon. For the safety of your child, please bring your child to the check-in area at that time. After the service, proceed to PATHWAY KIDS with your pick-up ticket to collect your child(ren). If you happen to loose your pick-up ticket, please come to the PATHWAY KIDS area with your drivers license.

If the need arises for a kid’s church worker to contact you due to prolonged crying, diaper change or any other problem, your child’s pick-up tag code# will show up on the main screen in the service. Bring your pick-up tag and present it to the usher that will be waiting for you at the entrance of PATHWAY KIDS.
